the interior of the refrigerator is designed very well with ample room for all types of products. the freezer portion is excellent with a drawer on the top that does not hinder the ability to see the food beneath it. the storage capacity is large. the lighting throughout the model is superior and the "alarm" that gently sounds after three minutes of having doors open is extremely helpful as a reminder. the exterior is a smudge proof stainless steel which is wonderful in that do not have to maintain to have it looking new. very pleased with delivery/setup process.

I cannot say what the truth is in this review. If I state the truth about the refrigerator that it will not cool I get sensored and told to redo my review. Is that even legal to do?. Needless to say I have a product that I cant use.

this refrigerator has so much room! i love the double doors and i really love the freezer on the bottom! the ice maker is great, but i've noticed that the ice cubes aren't as big, but i can live with that. we took out one of our selves because we have bigger items like milk and pitchers of ice tea and lemonade, and we still have a lot of room left. and the refrigerator is quite when it's running. i give this a 10!

loving our new samsung fridge. great internal layout. especially love the two-shelf bottom freezer. the fridge is also very quiet. it is such an upgrade to the one we had! i am also enjoying that i could move the shelves to make space for our water jug and other taller items. i immediately registered the fridge on the samsung website which was a good back up plan too. abt made it super easy and had it in and running in a very short time. also removed our old one with no fuss.

bought this in sep through the samsung website. delivery and install were great. after plugged in,is very loud. you can hear the fans cycling up and down speed. i do not have the icemaker turned on or hooked up. it vibrates the floor so loud you can hear downstairs. it can be heard throughout upstairs. i bought 3 year samsung care, but apparently that dosen't cover an extremely loud unit. i will be removing and placing on curb in front of our house if you want it.

this $1,500 refrigerator just stopped working right at year 4. i came back home after being away for a few days only to find (2 days before thanksgiving) all of my food defrosted in the freezer and most of my food in the refrigerator had gone bad. i called a repair man who told me the motherboard needed replacement so he gets the $400 part, installs it and the refrigerator still doesnt work. he told me the wiring is bad because there was no power coming to the front of the refrigator and he would have to take the refrigerator apart (which is time consuming and costly) to fix it. he also let me know that "samsung refrigerators have a lot of issues, especially with electrical." i will never buy another samsung refrigerator again.

this was a good option to fit the built in space in our older home. the reason i didn't give it a 5 is because i think the interior lighting could be brighter in the refrigerator section, and i wish one of the door shelves had a flip up cover as is found in some of the larger models. otherwise we are very pleased with the purchase.

since day one, water pools in the crisper drawers. this is a design flaw. now, the entire back panel of the refrigerator has ice protruding out of the vents. another design flaw! nothing stays cold in this unit!!! already spent $250 for the ice maker to be repaired (still doesn't work) now having another service call for ice maker and refrigerator. unit is only four years old!!!!

the customer service misled me as energy saver vs. energy star. it is not energy star. for once in 7 year purchase, it was a lie that trapped me. my first month bill was unusually higher and it was attributed to this. design is poor, two panels scratch when they open. worst, the finger prints.. all samsung products require daily cleaning as they all get finger print smudges that looks very dirty. took 1 mth to deliver and all these problems.

purchased this refrigerator, manufactured in december 2018 on january 29, 2020 from lowes. stupidly, i declined to extend the 1 year warranty, as i had heard good reviews about samsung products and had no reason to suspect that i would have problems with the refrigerator purchased for some time. i have a whirlpool fridge now. guess why. this refrigerator failed on me in 16 months. i'm out the cost of this fridge, the new fridge, $400 in food and irreplaceable breast milk stored in the old fridge for my 2 week old daughter. i would love it if someone at samsung would reflect on their global code of conduct against how my wife and i have been treated. so frustrated with customer service and the defective product.

I have now owned my 22 in. Frenchdoor Samsung Refrigerator for a little over two years. I have had no issues, and enjoy the roominess, and sleek look it lends to my kitchen area. The Ice Maker which is located inside the freezer compartment makes tons of ice, although, at first it may take a bit of time to produce ample amounts. The best thing about this refrigerator is it's small size, inside there is tons of space compared to others that take up much more space. Also, everything is well lit, and simple to use. Perfect mix of modernity and simplicity.

I purchased this refrigerator September 2017, it died February of 2018.
I though, given the marvels of 21st century technology, that there might be a magical reset feature that isn't all that obvious ... I unplugged it, gave it a minute or two and then plugged it back in.
I called Samsung and told them of the malfunction and that it reset. The representative replied "oh that's great, call us again if there is anything we can do" and hung up.
Well, there is something you could have done ... determine why my nearly new $1000.00 refrigerator just quit working. There is a problem developing ....
Well, my $1000.00 and now JUST over a year old and out of warranty refrigerator quit working permanently. Fortunately I did purchase an extended warranty through the retailer and they will eventually have a contracted repairman come out and take a look at it.
If they show as scheduled I will have been without a refrigerator for only TEN DAYS!!!!!

My landlady bought this refrigerator 18 months ago and it has stopped cooling three times already. Repairmen cannot seem to fix it and it looks like it is going to have to be replaced. This refrigerator is garbage. I haven't even had it 2 years and it's already leaking and collecting water on the bottom shelf and into the produce drawer. Frost and condensation constantly builds up. And it is extremely noisy. The freezer is super tight and you can barely remove the ice drawer. More and more I am hearing how awful Samsung appliances are and now I understand. Repairman says he is always repairing Samsung appliances over any other brand.

My family and I have purchased many Samsung Products over the years. This Samsung refrigerator is the perfect size and operates extremely efficiently. This Samsung refrigerator is the most energy $ saving refrigerator I have owned to date! You can easily adjust all the refrigerator controls in one easy location. Once you open the front doors to the refrigerator the controls for the refrigerator and bottom drawer freezer, (I love the freezer being on the bottom and the two doors for the refrigerator on the top), temperature, energy saver, ice maker, etc. are all on top, and illuminate in a beautiful neon blue color. The construction of the refrigerator itself is great. Astar as the electronics go, after 1 1/2 years they failed. Oh ya only 1 year warranty on the electronics. It should be at least 5 years.

Just received it 10/20. It replaced a 20 year old 21cf GE Profile fridge which had lots of adjustable storage bins on the door and inside along with slide-out shelves. I was disappointed that this fridge had none of that. No other brands came close to the Samsung in the size I wanted and the better made interior. This is the first time I've had a bottom freezer. Not sure if I'm a fan or not. Ice cube trays were not supplied since I didn't order the ice maker, but the bin was there (which I'm using for other items). It's a good thing I saved a small bin and trays from the old fridge. I love the lighting and the ease of setting the temperatures. It runs very quietly. Pull-out shelves and more adjustable increments on the doors would have been a plus.

Cheap plastic use for door hinges to lock the door in place. Bought this fridge in 2016 and had it delivered to me before Christmas,unfortunately after 2/3 months it started have a soft clocking sound as you close the door not thinking any thing was wrong. It sometimes makes that sound and sometimes nothing.now as months went by the sound get louder and louder,I have decided to call Samsung a week ago who said they will sent a technician over to check,still waiting for the technician.

I purchased this refrigerator from a local appliance store in January 2017. It is quiet and does what one would expect a refrigerator to do. The issue I have is that the french door guide( an approximately 4" plastic part held in place by 2 metal screws) needed to be replaced in October 2017, and I'm currently waiting for a second replacement of the same part in early April 2018. I feel that if this part were metal, it would not be breaking every few months. I have an extended warranty, so replacement cost is not the issue. It's the annoyance and frustration of experiencing this twice in less than 14 months.

We LOVE how big this fridge is. There are things we really like - it holds a lot. The light in the freezer is handy, and the freezer drawer that slides back to get to the two drawers is nice. The wide shallow bottom drawer in the fridge is good.
I like the flat surface at the bottom front of the fridge; so if you're digging for things, you can set the milk and other items there while you get what was behind them.
BUT - the refrigerator doors are hard to close! If you're holding the handle and close it, it closes well. But usually, your hands are full and you just push the door shut with your elbow. And so often, the door won't close all the way. You have to go back and push it again, with force.
Had I knows just how annoying that is, I may not have chosen this fridge.

There was nothing wrong with our "old" refrigerator; it was only three years old! But we really, really wanted a French door refrigerator. We have a very small opening in our kitchen for a refrigerator and were beginning to despair of ever finding a French door refrigerator that would fit. Then we saw a Sears' ad for this refrigerator. We went over to our local Sears and bought it then and there, sight unseen. The only drawback was that it took six weeks to be delivered, but once it arrived we immediately fell in love with it. I really love not only the two crispers but also the thin drawer under them which we decided to use for lunch meats and cheeses. There is plenty of room on the doors for milk, juices, condiments, etc. The only "minus" I can find is that there is no special place for butter or for eggs -- but that's not really a deal breaker because we just leave the eggs in their carton, and the butter is left in its own box until we open it, then we keep it in covered butter dishes anyway. This is probably the best refrigerator I've ever had!

It was delivered today. Wish I had noticed the dent in the right hand door. It's a nice refrigerator. cooled really fast. Previously had a bottom-freezer so I will have to get use to this set up. Love the deep freezer drawer and the fact that the top drawer inside it glides forward when you open it and gives easy access to ice. Great light in the freezer, but the refrigerator light doesn't light up whats in the back, just the front. So the items to the back are in the dark.
