my dryer is broken and the repair man can't fix it, because parts to replace to fix it, they don't make them anymore and is a pretty new model. i can't belive it. i being using my dryer for 1 year and 8 months.

setting these up were tricky. the washing machine shook so violently during the spin cycle it was leaving the ground several inches! we had to lay ontop of it just to keep it from ripping off the wall or breaking the drum inside while we hit the stop button. trying to figure out settings.

when trying to dry sheets and blankets this dryer rolls them into a cylindrical shop and only drys the out side. when i take out and unroll the inside is still wet.

We bought the flexdryer and flexwasher pair from ABC Warehouse. It hasn't been a week since we had the appliances delivered to the home so this will not be a in-depth review. In-fact, this is more of a complaint. So far we have only done one load of laundry and just in that first load, our dryer started making this really annoying rattling noise. We spent almost $3000.00 these appliances. And to experience this type of problem from the very beginning is nothing but frustrating. I'm not sure if there is a fix for this but I will be reaching out to the Samsung warranty department about this to see if they can provide any kind of relief. At this current time, I would not recommend any one buying this dryer.

We bought this dryer, had a professional install the LP conversion kit, and attempted to dry clothes. The machine will not dry clothes on any setting without it taking 3+ hours to complete the cycle. Samsung would not offer any technical help because it has been less than 30 days since we purchased the machine. I had the plumber come by again today and he still cannot resolve the issue. Both the washer and dryer are in the process of being returned so we can get a different brand.

I bought a pair of flex washer & dryer(gas), but asked first if I could use it with propane. As the Samsung answer was YES, Samsung will install the propane kit and both machines will be tested and working before driver leaves your house, I bought them. First they told me I had to install it myself, not that I have to buy the kit and hire a technician to do it. First time I buy a gas equipment that doesn't give the option of Natural or propane gas. I won't install it myself because I am not an expert and worse I could damage it and void the warranty, and they are not cheap. I liked Samsung a lot, not any more, they let me down.

This Samsung FlexDry is a wonderful piece of art and technology. Excellent product for all families especially when you have little kids at home that continue to need nearly daily washing/drying. the top dryer is wonderful for their small clothes and the other dryer fits what the rest of the family needs. it works fast and nearly silent. aesthetically it looks wonderful and complements the looks of a nice residence. Large capacity and a great money saver, fits large items easily and the quality of drying is the best. Highly recommended.

First impressions are key and this dryer hits a home run. The FlexDry dryer has a large drum that will take anything and everything you can put it in. The delicate upper dryer is great for smaller items that risk damage in the main drum. The various modes take the guesswork out of choosing heating level and time and the breadth of options ranging from towels, to bedding, permanent press, and steam refresh all serve their purpose in a household of five. The steam cycles are great for dress shirts that need a quick sprucing up. The Wrinkle Prevent feature is great for the situations where you won't be around to promptly remove items from the dryer that risk wrinkles if left in. The bright LED light provides ample brightness to ensure that the smallest of infant clothing isn't forgotten, which is great. One discovery, Eco dry is on by default when selecting the Normal mode and adds a bit of time however it runs at a lower energy consumption. The smartphone app works well for keeping track of the status, however it would be great if the gas variant of the dryer could also be controlled from it. Installation was a breeze and took very little time or effort at all. For a family of five where several loads of laundry are run each week, this FlexDry dryer is a workhorse. It is well worth it's cost and this one can't be beat. This review written as part of The Insiders program.

Great dryer: Best of the best!

After spending a month with the Samsung Gas flexdry dryer, I must say it's been rock solid. It's handled everything we've thrown at it, and then some. It can easily dry a king sized comforter + sheets without any residual dampness afterwards. That's something I've yet to experience in a dryer. It has a nice finish and is really attractive to look at. It and the matching samsung flexwash are the best looking things in my laundry room by far. It has a ton of features, all of which work well. It has WiFi integration, so when hooked up to your smart home you can see the status of the dryer on your samsung fridge or smart TV. The gas dryer version is unable to be controlled via smart home; though it does display the status of the machine. The top dryer is good for delicates.. it is air dry only, so don't expect it to handle too much. That being said it's great for the occasional wool sweater or whatnot. All and all my wife and I are very happy with the dryer, and we are grateful to the insiders for the opportunity to review it.

One Amazing Dryer!

I am reviewing the Samsung FlexDry Dryer as part of the Insiders Program. I will start by saying that I had been checking out the Flex Washer & Dryer for a few weeks. I was extremely excited to be selected for the program! When the dryer was delivered the installers were extremely professional and quick. I have to say I was impressed with the first look at this Dryer! The FlexDry Dryer is a LARGE appliance, much larger than I had imagined in my house. It fit perfectly in my laundry room but made my old appliance look like a mini apartment sized dryer. Make sure to check your dimensions before purchasing this dryer. With that said it is probably the most beautifully designed appliance I have seen. I love the black stainless steel that is fingerprint proof. It has the look of stainless steel just darker but not like a full on shiny black appliance. The doors have a nice full view of your laundry as it is drying. There are no push buttons or nobs on this dryer. The controls simply require a light touch to work. I felt completely excited with all the buttons and options available along with the connectivity to the Samsung SmartThings app. The dryer I received was a gas dryer so in the SmartThings app you can only monitor the progress (I'm still happy with this) and get a notification as soon as the cycle is finished. The top dryer is the delicates dryer. I have found this to be useful for lingerie and a couple shirts that can't be in the tumble dryer. The tumble dryer is, well, amazing! I have always had large capacity dryers so I could wash comforters and bedding but the Flexdry Dryer's drum is huge! Even when I put in a large blanket or load of laundry it still looks half full! Being that the drum is so large the door a little low and you may want to consider purchasing the riser as I did. The tumble dryer has a very convenient light inside above the door so you can clearly see what is in the dryer. The FlexDryer has an option for just about every piece of clothing, bedding, etc you could want to wash. Being able to do more than one load at a time is such a convenience! I have been using this Dryer for a few weeks and was so impressed by its performance (and style) that I have ordered the complimentary washer. I am overly satisfied with every aspect of this Dryer and have been recommending it to friends and family.

First things first I'm reviewing this dryer as part of the Insiders program, But the review and opinions are all my own. Second I must say how excited I was to be chosen for this program, the dryer was at my house literally 1 week after I received the call that I was chosen. Ok, now I received FlexDryer just to realize I needed the natural gas to propane conversion, kit#LPKIT-3 on Amazon for those of you who may need the same. Well, this past weekend I put the dryer through it, we dried linen, comforter, towels, delicates, heavy pieces of cotton etc. and I'm happy to report that the dryer kept up. For the first time, I have experienced a dryer that can have a load done before the next load came out of the wash.....The top of the flex dry feature it's great if you just washed that sweater, shirt, or delicates that you are trying to wear the same day. I would definitely recommend this dryer to friends and family. It's a workhorse.

The FlexDry Gas Dryer has been a great addition to or household this dryer is a great upgrade for my household. My family was very happy with how quick and easy the dryer is to use. With the old dryer we had you would have to cut the dryer on more than once to dry my family's clothes. I love the look of the dryer it has a very elegant look to it. I have gotten so many comments about the FlexDry Gas Dryer. The dryer can handle a large capacity of clothes. The top dryer with the air-drying rack has really been nice as well. I am very happy with this dryer.

Best Dryer Ever!

First of all, let me say, this dryer is simply amazing. Just wow. If someone asked me a month ago if I thought a dryer would be worth $2k, I would have laughed and said no. But after using this dryer for a couple weeks, I can't help but ask myself why I didn't get it sooner. I have, by far, never had a dryer that works as well as this one. This dryer is so feature rich that I have barely scratched the surface on all that it can do. I do like that fact that the electric dryer version can be controlled by your smart phone. I'm sad that the gas dryer version, which I have, can only be monitored with your smart phone and not actually controlled by it. I understand the reasoning for it though since it could be a safety issue, with it being run on gas. One thing to note though, if you get the gas dryer and you try to connect it to your SmartThings app, the manual tells you to press the "Smart Connect" button on the dryer, however, that's only for the electric dryer version. If you're connecting the gas dryer version, the button will be labeled as "Smart Monitor" instead. I think my favorite part of this dryer though is the dual dryer features: Delicate Dryer and Tumble Dryer. The fact that you can dry your delicates at the same time that you dry a normal load is an amazing design. No more having to just dry one article of clothing by itself to keep it safe, now i can just put the delicate article in the top dryer section. Even if I only had 1 piece of clothing to dry, I can still put it in the top section to dry and not run the large tub for just that. There are quite a few dry cycles with this dryer, but the ones I tend to use the most often are (with the Tumble Dryer) the: Normal, Towels, Bedding, Wrinkle Away, Steam Sanitize and the Air Fluff cycles. The other available cycles are: Heavy Duty, Delicates, Refresh, Perm Press, Active Wear and Time Dry. With the Delicate Dryer, the options you have are: Shirt/Blouse, Undergarment, Sweater and Accessory. I mainly just use the shirt dry option for the Delicate Dryer. The main dryer tub is pretty spacious at 7.5 cu ft. I finally have a dryer that will fit my comforters in it. That alone makes me happy to own this. I'm loving this dryer and after trying the FlexDry Dryer, I'm tempted to buy the FlexWash clothes washer too now, especially if it's as good is their dryer. I was able to purchase and review this dryer at a discount thanks to #SamsungInsiders in exchange for my honest opinions and review.

Can't believe that I've fallen in love with a clothes dryer. It has so many more features than my ancient device had. First of all, this thing has a large dryer drum, great for drying comforters and larger loads. I'm beginning to think this dryer is smarter than I am. Has so many sensors, it practically runs itself. The sensors mean I won't ruin my clothes like I used to on my old dryer. I can connect it to my phone, and I'll know exactly when my clothes are done. I can detect any problems it's having on my phone too. It has a top drying rack which is great when I have to dry delicates, or odd things like shoes, sneakers, and stuffed animals. There are more temperature settings than my old one had, I can tailor them to the load I'm drying. I can use the top rack while using the drum, so that saves me a few trips downstairs, which is awesome. There's a steam feature, it allows me to sanitize my items without destroying them. And it seems to give me way less wrinkles than I'm used to, so much less ironing, it's great. If you're in the market for a new dryer, this one is perfect, you can even switch the door direction! I received the appliance as part of the Insiders program.

A Big WOW!! Having two dryers within one machine is definitely a laundry game changer. A 7.5 cubic gas dryer. Let's start with the upper dryer which is roomy enough to dry your delicate, sweaters, bathing suits, stuffed animals sneakers and more. We used to air dry garments on drying racks or the back of chairs, now we longer have to do that with the FlexDry! The upper dryer is a flat rack drying system, so you simply ay your garment in the dryer. The main front loader dryer accommodates large loads and it even dries my king size comforter. The main dryer door has a wide door opening making it easy to toss in larger garments/bedding without a struggle. The flexibility of being able to dry a big load and a small load at the same time is excellent. The dryer is quiet. The FlexDry is state of the art, smart, energy efficient, easy to use and intuitive. You have all the bells and whistles on the FlexDry. The multi steam technology relaxes wrinkles which means less or no ironing, freshens, sanitizes, reduces static and odors. With the sensor dry which has the moisture sensors to protect my clothes from over drying and heat damage. The Wi-Fi connectivity allows me to remotely monitor the status of the laundry simply download the Samsung Smart Thing App. The finger resistant finish means less time cleaning off fingerprints which is a major plus along with the stainless steel drum. The internal drum light allows me to check on the laundry and insure there is nothing left in the dryer. The display colors are ice blue with the display being a digital LED. There is a button for everything delicate, permanent press, towels, sanitize, refresh, active wear, time dry, air fluff and normal. The drying and cooling temperatures can be adjusted along with the time. You have eco dry, mixed load bell, anti-static, smart monitor, child lock and more. When was the last time you checked the house dryer vent? No worries the FlexDry has the vent sensor which continually monitors the air duct and notifies me when it's time to clean the vent, what a fantastic safety feature. The Smart care technology allows me to trouble shoot and diagnosis the dryer from my smartphone or tablet which saves money on having a serviceman come in. The door can be reversed so it accommodates your laundry room needs. Both the top and bottom dryer play a tune when the drying cycle is complete. The dryer is 50" in height so it taller than other dryers, keep that in mind and in my opinion there is no need to place the dryer on a pedestal. I was able to dry my first load without reading the manual, but to fully learn all about the FlexDry I will be reading the manual. Pair the FlexDry with the FlexWash and you have a state of the art laundry room. Samsung takes laundry to a whole another level. Who knew laundry could be fun and not a chore, Samsung sure knew how to make that come true. I without a doubt recommend the FlexDry. This Samsung FlexDryer is SMART - both in looks and connectivity. Impressive in Black Stainless Steel and cool blue LED display and Wi-Fi connectivity over app - saves effort by monitoring status on app from bedroom instead of walking down to laundry room. The features we love are quite a few but will list the top ones sets it apart. 1) Capacity - at 7.5 cu ft., this one has room for that big bulky comforter, the dryer being a work horse, the comforter comes out "DRY" with no moist spots. 2) Flex Dryer - big big win feature. Great for that not just that small load of our weekly delicates and sweaters, but also those layered upholstery which come with "no tumble dry" instructions. 3) Drying time - not sure what but this one definitely takes way lesser time with its drying efficiency of similar loads in our previous dryer. 4) Options Galore: From Normal, Delicates, Perm Press to Heavy Duty. From The Steam cycles - Refresh, wrinkle away to steam sanitize are great features if you just plan to do quick steam before ironing those pesky cotton shirts. Or the plain simple time drying manual option; and i almost forgot the bedding option - and these are just for the main dryer. For your sweaters, undergarments and delicates there is the top dryer. This dryer is capable of taking care of your costly garments with the right notes of love and care. 5) All the fancy tall dark and handful features - stain resistant, lint indicator, good height, energy efficient, child lock, cute tunes t indicate cycle ends, fabric care container, etc.... Initial impressions upon receiving this dryer as part of the Insiders program, to now nearly a month of usage, our impressions overall a great buy. Now looking to club with the FlexWasher shortly!

Love this dryer! When I received the dryer, I was so excited to use the top dryer for my delicates. The small dryer on top dryer is big enough for delicates like underwear, bras sweaters, sports bras etc...I love how I don't need to use the bottom dryer if I have a small amount of clothes to dry and I love how I can use BOTH at the same time! I'm surprised as to how much clothes it can dry. It is so fast and so efficient; a lot faster than my previous dryer. I even dried my king comforter in there! The machine is very easy to use and there are many different drying functions as well. It plays a nice little tune after the clothes are dried! There really isn't anything bad to say about this dryer. It is definitely worth it!

The future in design and technology!

I never thought how gorgeous an appliance would look would make me so happy but this thing certainly does just that. I find myself showing it off to everyone who comes over. But aside from the aesthetics, this machine does a great job. It is deceptively large, one dry cycle can handle two loads from my older washer. THere are a ton of different modes to tailor your dry cycle to what you are drying specifically which will allow you to better utilize your time and energy consumption. But the best feature is the top separate dryer which allows you to dry a smaller collection of clothes so that you dont have to wait for a full load, or if an emergent need arises. This was definitely a splurge purchase but worth it in my opinion. Treat yourself!

Great dryer I have yet to use all the drying features. Heads up if your like me and you use propane let the store know before you buy, these gas dryers come set up for natural gas for propane you will need LPKIT-3 installed and trust me you will want to have it done by a pro. Great dryer I will update when I get some more use out of it.

Got this Dyer for the available feature to dry delicate clothes and I am totally impressed with the performance . There is no wrinkle , no dullness in clothes due to fading of colors which is really amazing . Keeps clothes looking new . I really like the delicate dryer which is very useful to dry baby clothes and linen clothes that are prone to shrinking . Overall really satisfied #samsunginsiders

I love everything about this dryer except that it doesn't allow me to turn off the Eco Dry function. I have 4 very active kids and a husband that works and coaches. I do 14 loads of laundry every Monday to keep up moving. When we first got the machine Eco Dry came on as a default, so when suddenly it was coming on every time I turned on the machine I thought someone had accidentally pressed something. I guess, according to Samsung, it was always supposed come on when Normal Dry is chosen and is a default setting. Samsung says, "Eco dry will add drying time, but save money." Well, as you can imagine, I don't want to add time when doing 14 loads of laundry. My complain is this: I didn't have to remember to turn it off when it wasn't automatically coming on and now that it is, I don' think about it turning it off, making my drying time longer than I want.I should be able to change the setting so it stays off all the time and I can't. With all of the bells and whistles on this thing having a little more control. My only other issue is the one others have mentioned... the wifi and app don't work. Oh - and one more issue. The done "BELL" is WAY too long. It's a song. I wish it had a middle option, one between a 15 second song and totally off. It is huge and dries well. 5 stars if I had control over Eco Dry. (I'd give it 5 stars even if the wifi/app never worked if I could take the Eco Dry default off!)
