I have a narrow kitchen, therefore, I was looking into counter-depth refrigerators. My previous refrigerator was 25 cubic feet, I was concerned this model wouldn™™t provide the interior space needed, but it has worked out fine. I love the glass shelves and the way the interior is laid out. This refrigerator has an elegant, upscale look. I am very pleased with this purchase. I am familiar with the Electrolux brand and quality, as I have owned an Electrolux washer and dryer for several years now.

Very noisy and water line to ice maker freezes

Purchased 3 years ago. Water line to ice maker has frozen up 3 times ($ 90 each time to have tech thaw out). Ice maker auger broke into pieces - had to replace whole unit ( $ 250). Was advised I could purchase heater kit to be installed so water line would not freeze up ($400). Runs very noisy all the time. Pretty fridge but very disappointed with quality.

This was purchased in August 2018. 17 months old. The ice maker was broken and it took weeks to get it repaired. Then 2 months later the refrigerator temperature went down to 25degrees. This was fixed after all my food got frozen and could not be used. The problem now is the refrigerator temperature rose to 46 degrees.

Nice fridge, some storage problems

Have had the fridge about two months. It was a floor model and after about a week, the plastic cover at the base under the door of the freezer section came loose and started to catch on the door. A small plastic locking tab had failed. I was able to glue it into place and it has been ok since. I miss a custom egg container and a butter drawer. Perhaps because I am still new to it, I struggle some with the storage arrangements.

Have had Electrolux fridge, microwave, dbl oven and dishwasher. Nothing but trouble, too many repairs needed, clock on oven runs fast and constantly needs to be (really, is that difficult?). The fridge in particular is of very poor quality. Needless to say, when we move, appliances can stay!

Bought this 2.5 years ago. Thought I was spending my money wisely, it's an Electrolux for crying out loud. What a piece of junk. Ice maker/water failed, drawer glides in the freezer have broken, ( not from use) drawer handles break off in your hand. I have fridge, wave touch oven/microwave, induction cook top and central vac. NEVER AGAIN!

Purchased IQ Touch 10/10/13 from local Best Buy. As a comparatively expensive Side-By-Side, I expected excellent performance for the value. For the first warranty year, all was well. Now into the second non-warranty, disappointment. Two major problems, both unfixed at present. First, while the ice maker continues to make ice well enough, the augur motor does not turn crank to deliver ice through door. Now within the last week, temperature numbers for freezer & refrigerator went out. When re-set to preferred freezer temperature of 6 degrees, the refrigerator insists on remaining at 24 degrees instead of warming up to preferred 40 degrees.. Once re-set to 40 degrees, refrigerator did warm up to 40; however at present setting has returned to 23 degrees. These two problems within two years of purchase make me reluctant to highly endorse this product.

I got this a month ago, after another fridge was delivered damaged: we were replacing a 10 year old Electrolux. The shelving is functional--they've changed to more drawers and less shelves in the fridge side, and more space for cans in the door. The shelves do require that the door be fully open to fully extend. The controls are intuitive and work well and the freezer has adequate space for a side by side. The looks are good and so far, so good

I bought all new appliances when I remodeled my kitchen. I chose Electrolux because I was told it was high quality and worth the extra money it cost. I was very disappointed. The doors of my side by side are not even and it runs so loud people make comments about it.

The refrigerator is good but there are some nagging problems with it. Already twice the mechanism that pulls the drawer out has broken and it is getting very annoying. Plus the Chill Zone is not explained very well and certain items keep freezing in that drawer. One last small issue is the plastic wrapping covering the refrigerator when first opened, is very difficult to get off and still impossible to get all of the little pieces on the edges of the door.

Problems with inside doors

This unit has 3 draws, the top one would not work, it came off so many times and would not close. The repair man came once, twice, three times before getting it right. Each time they were replaced, it lasted 3 weeks and again the prolblem came back. Now after 3 months working its starting again. This is a very nice unit, but for the problems were having storing items. Why the doors don't pull out is a question I don't understand. There is very litler in each unit.
