Works and looks great, but...

The stove top looks great, adn when it works, it works great. However we have had a number of issues with the central burner and Bosch support has been abysmal. Trying to get repaired with a local repair shop now.

I have had this cooktop for some weeks now and continue to be very pleased. I very much like the double central burner.....the simmer is actually a true simmer flame. First time in many houses I have had that luxury. All the other burners are different sizes which makes it easy to match to cookware. The grates are very good, well designed and easy to remove to clean. The glass surface is easy to clean. I have had this type of surface before and this one has not disappointed me. Lastly, it just looks fabulous! Not utilitarian at all! Overall, a well designed cooktop.

Definitely an upgrade from our previous cooktop, the Bosch Benchmark dropped right into the same cut-out with ease and has been an excellent experience to date. In 10-20 years from now, we'll definitely being buying Bosch again.

Beautiful but not fuctional

This is poorly designed - the grate is so high off the burner that it takes forever to cook or boil water. My last last low end GE worked way better at 1/4 of the price! Do not buy without testing. Such an expensive cooktop should work well. Aready have a broken knob in 3 months of use! Hope customer service does something about this.

Burners Keep Breaking - Less than 1-year old

Already had a part replaced for a burner not working and now it's not working again. I would not recommend this stovetop. Also, takes a long time to boil water, I had hoped that getting a stovetop with such high BTU would make water boil fast.

Built like a tank in the German tradition, this is a high qauality addition to. serious kitchen. Having a choice of burner heats is useful and the unit is relatively easy to clean. Relative to others which are REALLY difficult.
