Got this for our basement kitchenette and it fits perfectly and meets our needs for not only wine storage, but a variety of beverages. I like the light that comes on when you enter the area. Have not verified the temperatures but so far it seems to be working extremely well. Much more energy efficient than the old dorm-style refrig. it replaced & looks great.

Good beverage center - roomy!

We bought this for our new kitchen and it looks very high end. stores a lot of bottles, cans, special section for wine bottles and able to accommodate 2 different temperatures based on location , top or bottom. Light goes on by motion center, which we had trouble adjusting initially, but everything all set now.

This is a very standard beverage center, sold at a ridiculously high price. The shelves are not adjustable. The wine rack accommodates most (750 ml) bottles of wine, but bigger 750 ml bottles don't fit next to each other.

DO NOT BUY - Doesnt work!

I purchased this unit as part of a large kitchen remodel specifically for the dual zone feature to keep red wine at the proper temp. We set the bottom zone at 64 but it routinely is at 45 degrees - almost 20 degrees off! We have had 2 service visits where they have replaced virtually all parts and it still doesn't work. Kitchenaid customer service said they wont replace it and that our only recourse is to keep scheduling service visits - even though the tech has said he cant fix it. Hugely disappointing! Expect more for such an expensive unit. Do not buy, this doesn't work and Kitchenaid wont stand by its product.

Looks great works well. Holds about 56 12oz cans water bottles and beers. Lights up as you walk by which is a cool feature, or you can set it to light up only when you open it. Very quiet operation. Very happy with this purchase.

Bought this back in March '17 to fill the open spot for a beverage/wine combo frig that we always wanted when we built our new home recently. I looked at several different brands and visited some stores, but this one prevailed based on price, look and versatility. We've had no issues with it and it runs really quiet. Just a faint hum, but I never even notice it when eating in the kitchen or in our family room. Love the light that comes on when you walk in front of it! I highly recommend :)

I, like another reviewer, had problems with the beverage center door. The original was damaged and after waiting 12 weeks for a replacement, it also arrived damaged. Door number 3 was delivered three weeks later and it was damaged. I am still waiting for door number 4. With this poor quality control on a door, I worry about the mechanical components and therefore cannot recommend this product.

Shelves aren't tall enough to hold many brands of craft beers in taller bottles. Also the door doesn't close properly, it bounces open if closed hard.

Nice refrigerator, Good and Bad features

We just had this installed as part of our kitchen/butler's pantry remodel so I have only had it for a couple of days. I love that has preprogramed temperatures on it for wines so it is easy to change based on what you are adding to the beverage center. I also like the slide out wine bottle holders. Ours is mainly used as a second refrigerator, something the kids can easily get in and out of without standing at the main refrigerator with the door open. They can see in and pick the flavor of water they want before opening and wasting energy. I will say it is an expensive refrigerator to be used as a second refrigerator but I think in the long run it will be worth it. It has a decent amount of storage space. The auto light function is pretty cool too. It goes on when you open, stays on for a brief period, then dims to off. The downfall is that there is not a moveable shelf. That would have been a nice feature to have. Overall it is a nice piece, but a little expensive.

Great overall look and multi functional

I've bought this and had it installed about 5 months ago. The fridge has great capacity and we fill it with tons of variety of soft drinks, water, perrier etc. The bottom rack is perfect for storing our wine bottles and the tempature control is perfect for keeping the soft drinks cool while keeping the wine at the perfect temperature. The light feature is also really neat where it lights up whenever someone passes by the fridge or the door is opened. One improvement noted was - if you over fill the fridge, the soft drinks in cans can freeze and then explode will in the fridge. This has happened already twice where we came home to find the fridge door opened with some cans fallen on our floor / spills. Would be good if this fridge had some sort of lock on it so that the door doesnt open so easily. We've been filling it with less items so that the last can isnt touching the back of the fridge to prevent this. Overall, it's a beautiful fridge which everyone has commented on how neat it looks and operationally functional it is.

This has been our worst appliance purchase ever. The dual temperature zone is a joke. When the upper is set for 37 degrees and lower is set for red wine at 64, the lower zone cannot get above 50 degrees. After a long and torturous experience navigating the maze of KitchenAid customer service, and 3 attempted repairs over the course of 3 months the unit was finally replaced. After all this, the new unit works exactly like the previous one!!!
