Our new Frigidaire microwave looks great in our new kitchen! Having the fan and vent is very helpful in mitigating steam from the cooktop below. Control panel is easy to use and having the clock feature is a bonus.

The stainless steel cover began to peel off immediately after purchase. The microwave lasted three years before it died. Very overpriced!!!!

I love my new refrigerator. I really like the idea of having the freezer on the bottom. There is so much more room. That goes for the top part as well. Lots of room to organize. I appreciated that there was a rebate at the time of purchase.

My husband and I purchased 12/20 and live at another home 1/2 of each year. We use our microwave on a limited basis and know not to open microwave while it is running - and yet here we are at 2 years, 2 months and we are advised that our Frigidaire Professional series microwave is broken and to repair will cost more than purchasing a new microwave!!??? Shameful poor quality, American made product should not fail so quickly with such limited use!!??

Love the microwave. Works great. BUT the HANDLE is PLASTIC on the inside, where it attaches to the door and screws. HORRIBLE DESIGN FLAW. Many consumers have reported this issue. Apparently, the only way to fix this is to replace the entire door! Truly pathetic for such an expensive microwave. Frigidaire should make a replacement part from metal!

I bought this unit and the door came unhinged and a few months later it stopped working.St first I thought it was an isolated matter however, a good friend of mine had the same issues. I am surprised that Frigidaire has not issued a recall on this product.

My microwave screen no longer work today after 2 years of use. I had the same problem as the other users. For such an expensive unit but the door was so bad it cut the wire. Called customer service and they wanted me to pay for repair. This is truly a manufacture poor design. it should be recall. I had high hope in Frigidaire products and now would not buy another appliance from them.

The wire for the controls and lights runs through a small hole cut in the top portion of the door near the top hinge of the door. The edge of the metal has cut into the wire and is causing the interior lights of the microwave to flicker and I loose the read out on the display panel. This is a major design flaw. The edge of the metal should either have been rolled so it cannot cut into the wire or a grommet should have been placed around the inside edge of that hole. The metal as it is now is too sharp. I have always liked this microwave but now I regret purchasing it. I feel that Frigidaire should issue a recall on these microwaves to repair this issue. In addition to the microwave not being able to operate properly, a person could get shocked or electrocuted by the cut wire.

Microwave works fine but the convection oven smells like wires are burning somewhere. It™™s not food or debris, it™™s wiring. We bought this so we could bake without using our gas oven and we can™™t afford to buy a new one. Don™™t buy it.

I had the same problem as other users. The wire handle was cut in two years of usage. Frigidaire should recall this microwave due to the wire flaw. It is expensive to fix as purchasing a new one.

I purchased this "Professional" microwave a year ago as part of the "professional" kitchen suite. It started acting up just under a year from purchase but I do not live at this location full time so I did not get the repair request in before the 12 months. Frigidaire did send out Lake appliance repair to take a look at the issue. I could not convince them of the issue I was having and told me I was over reacting. He wrote on his repair. Customer had microwave unplugged. Power source reconnected, microwave works. I tried to use the microwave after returning back to this location and now I have proof of this ongoing issue and why I unplugged the unit (for safety reasons). I am sure If I let the microwave continue it would catch fire. The smell within 3 seconds burns if you breath it. I can only imagine if some one starts a 2 min cycle and walks away from the unit. I have used this microwave less than 50 times in the last year. Again, DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT!!!!! FIRE HAZARD WAITING TO HAPPEN.

Bought the whole series of Frigidaire appliances when remodeled kitchen a couple years ago. Then a year ago fuse started shorting when opening door during cooking cycle. Now the door handle broke off while opening door this morning. Seems like it should have held up better than it had. Very disappointed in this product!

Handle gets very hot....Being an "over the stove microwave" I'd expect some heat. Our last one had a plastic handle but this unit has a chrome metal handle that gets extremely hot. We bought some handle covers ...seems to work ok now..no more burned hands.

I purchased this item two years ago and am not happy with it. The first time I used the convection feature the motor sprayed flames and blew up. Quite intimidating. The repair was made but the inside of the oven was scorched and looks old and used. I asked about replacement but was told no, it was just cosmetic.I'm a afraid to use the convection but I've tried it. It's slow and noisy to heat and the chicken I cooked was terrible. I would like to use the convection but don't find it useful at all.Now... 2 years later I have a code E-11 and will have to have it repaired again.Oh, yes... because they had to remove and re-install the microwave for the first repair the outside was damaged. I didn't know this until the microwave had to be re-installed when I was having cabinet work done.I use the timer frequently but do wish it had a ringer that could be heard.Would definitely not recommend!

I have had this for over a month. I bought this and a new range to replace my microwave and double oven. I thought this would be a viable replacement since it is difficult to find double ovens. Boy was I wrong! The ™convection oven™™ does not work! Takes twice as long as a regular oven and does not crisp/brown like it should. For the $700 I spent on a microwave I expect more - a lot more! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! I have been a long time Frigidaire customer, rethinking.I have called Frigidaire 3 times with no resolve. Called the retailer. I™™m told ™this is how it is supposed to work™™. ™The instructions are just a starting point™™. 40 minutes to convect French fries? Obsurd. Don™™t waste your money!!

Installed brand new Frigidaire Professional in new home. But frequent breaker tripping after 3 years of use. Called for service, almost all appliance repair technicians tell me to buy new microwave! We couldn't find service manual to open & check the switch or any other problem. Any idea, suggestion or service manual, please? Thank you.

I bought this unit brand new 3 years ago, it's only actually been used for less than 2 years. One day the control panel just went out and I haven't been able to use the microwave, light or ventilator system on here. The unit can be plugged in but no matter what you press, it doesn't register. I've had a multitude of microwaves over the past 20 years and have never expected that the most expensive one would be the shortest living product. Not having access to not only a microwave, but the ventilation and light is just extremely disheartening. Thought that I would get a professional unit that's named Frigidaire Professional, but I absolutely didn't. Makes me want to refrain from ever purchasing a Frigidaire product again.

I don't usually write reviews but this product is not dependable. I have had four of them Quit working in the last 7 years! The last one lasted a week. The only reason I continued to replace it with the same unit is because of my extended warranty and it matches my other appliances.

We purchased a newly built home approximately less than two years ago. We came down to heat a cup of water for coffee and the microwave had no lights NONE. We checked the plugin, and it was not the problem. I have read online that other people have had their microwaves not lasting two years. So, let me ask can I expect the same thing to happen to my washer and dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove? I registered all my products, but will that do me any good or did I just waste my time and give my email address away.

I purchased this microwave about 2 years ago. I have been using about twice a week to reheat leftovers. This week the handle fell off. I have discovered that the replacement door and its installation will cost me almost $700. I wouldn't mind the repair if I got 10 years out of the original. I have had microwaves that looked like they fell off the back of a truck that held up for decades. This piece of you know what is called the Frigidaire Professional. Poorly named.

It's been 18 months since we bought the Professional Series range, refrigerator, dishwasher and over-the-range microwave. We are outside the 12 month manufacturer warranty, and the door stopped functioning properly. The interior light doesn't turn on, it doesn't automatically stop the cooking process, and it doesn't recognize that I've opened the door and continues to beep at me once the food is finished.This entire line of products looks nice, but it's no where near "professional" quality. Sadly, this over-the-range microwave is the best of the four products we purchased, but that's not saying much. The baking ability is nice if you want to do a small batch of cookies, but I'd rather have it just be able to microwave food properly after 18 months.It looks nice, the idea of "professional" sounds nice, but it's not nice at all. I regret spending thousands of dollars on these appliances because every one of them is underwhelming in functionality.

??I am writing this review in the hope that you can provide some guidance on an issue we are having with our Frigidaire Professional OTC Microwave/Convection Oven.The model number is FPBM3077RFC and the serial number is KG12705342. It was purchased on March 3, 2022.The Microwave cooking feature is working up to our expectations so the comments below will apply to the Convection features.These issues are: 1. When the convection bake feature is selected and the preheat temperature is imputed the oven starts to heat.The time display signals ™Oven Ready™ well before the oven actually approaches the desired temperature.2. The convection bake feature takes an excessively long time to reach a temperature close to that which was inputed. To test this feature we placed a new Thermoworks DOT instant read oven air probe temperature gauge on the wire tray and set the preheat temperature to 300 degrees . The display indicated that the oven had reached that temperature (OVEN READY) after 6 minutes while the DOT gauge reached 284 degrees at 30 minutes after starting the preheat process after which we terminated the test. We have experienced that food items cooked with the convection bake mode are undercooked when the set timer expires and additional bake time must be added.In September we requested that a service appointment be set up and on Oct 18 a Frigidaire approved technician observed the operation of the convection bake feature but was not able to check the temperature because he did not have a gauge with him.He inquired via phone to his service center about our issues and he was told ™that™™s just the way those ovens operate™. I can™™t believe that Frigidaire would agree with this resolution. I felt that we deserved a more in depth investigation into these issues so I requested that a different service provider come to check the convection operation.On December 1 the second service provider spent more time testing and observing the operation of the Microwave and especially the Convection Bake feature. He agreed that there were operating issues and ordered the following four parts which arrived in late December.Microwave Convection Element ThermisorMicrowave Electronic Control BoardMicrowave Convection Element High Limit Thermostat Heating ElementOn January 5 the technician returned to install the above parts. He was not able to remove the original Heating Element but ™tested™ it and deemed it to be working properly. After the other parts were installed he assured me that the problem was solved and that the operation of the convection bake feature would be normal. I had doubts because in his final tests the set temperature was never met according to his meter.After his repair I used the DOT instant read oven temperature air probe gauge to test it's accuracy . I tested it with our Frigidaire Professional Gas Oven (purchased on the same date as the microwave) and it registered temperatures equivalent to the oven LED panel.Next I baked two loaves of bread made from the same dough. Both the gas oven and the microwave were set to convection bake at 400F. The gas oven reached the set temperature after about 20 minutes. The microwave pre heat temperature never reached 400F even though the LED panel indicated that the oven was ready at about 20 minutes. The bread was placed in the microwave oven when the instant read gauge showed 380F. During the rest of the baking process the DOT temperature gauge showed readings of between 340 and 350. After 45 minutes I removed the loaf which was slightly moist from being under cooked. The gas oven baked loaf was finished in 25 minutes and met my expectations.In our ongoing attempt to resolve the issues described above I called Frigidaire customer service and the only advice I was given was to schedule another appointment with the same provider who serviced the Microwave on January 5. Before doing that I would prefer to hear comments from someone from Frigidaire who is familiar with this product.Thank you I will await your reply.MRB44Sent from my iPad

Refreshed our kitchen appliances from another brand to Frigidaire Professional and we are loving it! The microwave gives the best of both worlds with the ability to use the convection feature. The only issue we have is that the buzzer sound isn™™t as loud as we™™d like, and you really need to pay attention for when the timer goes off (especially if you have something of the stove). Overall we are extremely satisfied!

This microwave has some great features but I would definitely purchase the extended warranty. My last one (same model) only lasted 4 years! The control panel went out, which is a very expensive repair! Typical these days!

I recently replaced all of my Viking appliances with the Frigidaire Professional series and I have not yet been disappointed. This microwave™™s door is much lighter and has more options. It™™s also quieter which is really nice. I™™m very happy with my purchase.
